MANILA, Philippines–NLEX coach Jimmy Alapag on Sunday met San Miguel Beer’s Marcio Lassiter for the first time since the latter broke his record for most career three-pointers in PBA history. The Road Warriors’ 110-96 win over the Beermen in the PBA Governors’ Cup at Smart Araneta Coliseum allowed Alapag to personally congratulate Lassiter, who set the record on Sept. 15, 2024. “Aside from playing a team that has really dominated the PBA for a long time, I was really looking forward to getting a chance to see Marcio,” Alapag said.
